These logos were part of a brand concept for a mobile laundry service, much like a combination between a laundrette and JustEat.
The project later moved in another direction, but there were interesting concepts that came out of the initial work. Combining the "mobile" element with a location pin, and visual representations of a washing machine/laundry process.
Direction 1 - Friendly, bold typography and gradients.
This approach was largely inspired by friendly, eco-friendly brands. With friendly curves and a playful look to the typography. The location icon is combined with a representation of a washing machine on a spin cycle.
Direction 2 - A playful, illustrative approach.
This approach is a different spin on the previous direction, with a more illustrative look, more line depth and multiple colours to show the same washing machine door. The typography is thinner, with inspiration coming from the app/tech industry, and a more modern look.
Direction 3 - The simple iconography approach.
This direction further explores a simple, app icon look. With modern, curved typography of varying styles, some almost cursive and some much simpler bolder looking.
Direction 4 - A bold, wildcard approach.
The final direction was a bit of a wildcard. Using all-caps and various different iconography overlapping or cut out of the location pin.
